Unleash Your Creativity with Golden Experiences: Drawing & Painting Program for Seniors

Adults aged 55 and older are invited to embark on a transformative creative journey through a unique eight-week program, "Golden Experiences through Drawing & Painting," at the Pulaski County Public Library. This program, led by local artist and storyteller Jennifer Weinert, provides seniors a unique opportunity to explore their artistic potential in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Program Details:

  • Duration: Weekly sessions, every Wednesday from August 28th through October 16th
  • Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM  EST
  • Location: Pulaski County Public Library – Winamac, Indiana

During the first four weeks, participants will explore various drawing techniques, while the final four weeks will focus on acrylic painting. Sessions will focus on an introduction to a technique, an activity, refreshments, and time to discuss individual observations. Participants will build a comprehensive reference portfolio showcasing their multiple projects throughout the program. There is an opportunity for participants to display their work and share their experiences at a culminating event.
