Trees Ready for Pickup
Did your child register for a tree for Earth Day? These lovely white pine trees are ready for pickup during the library’s regular hours. We received 133 local requests for trees. Please pick up your tree by Saturday, April 27th.
Balloon in a Box: Coping with Grief
Hoosier author Tom Rose will be at the library on Thursday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. to discuss the grief journey he went through after his wife died from breast cancer in 2019. He covers his experience in his book Balloon in a Box.
Snail Scavenger Hunt
Visit our children's area this month to take part in a snail scavenger hunt!
We've hidden snail images around the area, each featuring a number and a letter. Put the letters in the right order to spell out a secret message and win a prize!
2024 Voting Information
Pulaski County Clerk JoLynn Behny recently visited the library's monthly Hoosier Explorers program to discuss the voting process for this year's upcoming elections.
Eclipse Glasses
The solar eclipse is coming on April 8th, and we have glasses! We will be giving away 200 eclipse glasses each week – one per cardholder – starting March 4th. To get yours, just come in and show your library card!

Free Trees for Kids
Kindergarten Readiness Kits
With kindergarten screening around the corner, the library is offering Kindergarten Readiness Kits! These kits contain books, activities, and other materials to help prepare your little one for school.
New Teen Program: E-Sports
We are excited about our newest program for teens: E-Sports!
At E-Sports, teens get together to play video games from Super Smash Bros. to Minecraft.
Library Lovers Month
February is Library Lovers Month! Throughout the month, buy a heart at the library’s main desk for $1, $5, or $10. Your donation will go directly toward this year’s Summer Learning program.
