Banned Books Week –September 22nd–28th – is a celebration of the freedom to read. During this week we highlight instances where books have been challenged or banned and affirm our commitment to ensuring access to any material a person chooses to read.
The library will host a Community Banned Book Discussion about The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas on Thursday, September 26th at 5:30. Pick up a free copy of the book at the library or at Tippy’s restaurant while supplies last!
