Banned Books Week – September 23rd–29th – is a celebration of the freedom to read. During this week we highlight instances where books have been challenged or banned and affirm our commitment to ensuring access to any material a person chooses to read.
The library will host a Community Banned Book Discussion about The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls on Thursday, September 27th at 5:30. Free copies of the book will be available at the library in the weeks leading up to the discussion while supplies last!
