An author with local ties will be visiting the library to give a presentation about her new book. Karen Berkey Huntsberger grew up in North Salem, Winamac, and Logansport, and her father was the minister of the First Christian Church in Winamac from 1957-1965. She will discuss Waiting for Peace: The Journals and Correspondence of a World War II Medic on Saturday, July 23, at 2:00.
