It's Library Week! Join us April 22nd-27th as we celebrate how “Libraries Transform Communities.”
Libraries play a transformational role in the communities they serve, acting as agents of positive change. Libraries connect and collaborate with other local organizations, building strong relationships and bringing about greater community investment in civility, education, health and well-being.
Celebrations during Library Week include:
- Patron Appreciation Day, Wednesday, April 24th: Join us all day in our Café-Lounge for cookies, coffee, and camaraderie.
- Library Workers Day, Thursday, April 25th: Stop in and say thank you to the library staff members who work to provide the services you enjoy and depend on.
During the week we'll be posting photos on Facebook of the various local organizations we work with, showing how the library really does connect with and enrich the whole community.
